The short version
- 263 Ads connects buyers with sellers and helps businesses advertise. We are not the seller, and we are not a party to deals made between users.
- Sellers are responsible for their listings being real, accurate and legal.
- “Verified” means we checked who a business is. It does not guarantee its goods or its conduct.
- Never pay a deposit for something you have not seen. View first.
- Paid services are priced in US dollars on our Pricing page and paid upfront. We do not guarantee sales or a number of leads unless we agree it in writing.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Clickatrix Digital Solutions (Private) Limited (registration number 38546A0242025), of 12th Floor, Joina City, Harare (“263 Ads”, “we”, “us”). By using 263ads.co.zw, creating an account, posting a listing or buying a service, you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be 18 or over to create an account, post a listing or buy a service. If you act for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and “you” includes the business.
2. What 263 Ads is
263 Ads is a marketplace where people and businesses list products, services, property and offers, and an advertising service that promotes them on 263 Ads and on partner channels.
Unless a listing says it is sold by 263 Ads, we are not the seller, we do not own or inspect what is listed, and we are not a party to any agreement between a buyer and a seller. We do not hold money for buyers or sellers. The buyer and the seller are responsible for their deal, including its price, delivery, quality and any guarantee, and the Consumer Protection Act [Chapter 14:44] applies between them where it applies.
3. Accounts
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what is done with your account until you tell us it has been misused.
- One person per account. A business may have several people on its account, each with their own sign-in.
- You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
4. Listing rules
If you post a listing, or ask us to post one for you, you promise that:
- the item, service, property or offer is real, available and yours to sell or offer, or you are authorised to offer it;
- the title, description, price, photos and location are accurate and not misleading, and the photos are of the actual item or your own work, or you have permission to use them;
- a price is the real price; a sale price is genuinely lower than the price you normally charge, and ends when you say it ends;
- for property, you state whether you are the owner, an agent or a developer, and an agent gives a registration number;
- for a course or admission, the dates, requirements and qualification are correct;
- you are entitled to publish any contact details you include.
Listings from business accounts are reviewed before they go live. We may decline, edit the category or formatting of, or remove any listing, and we may remove a listing that has been sold, let or closed.
5. What is not allowed
You may not list, advertise or send through 263 Ads:
- anything illegal to sell or offer in Zimbabwe, or stolen, counterfeit or smuggled goods;
- weapons, ammunition, explosives, drugs, or medicines that require a prescription or a licence you do not hold;
- protected wildlife or wildlife products;
- investment, pyramid, forex or cryptocurrency schemes, or loans from unregistered lenders;
- jobs, courses or visas that require payment before anything is delivered;
- adult content, hate speech, harassment or content that threatens anyone;
- anyone else's personal information without their permission;
- fake listings, fake reviews or anything designed to mislead.
You may also not copy listings or contact details in bulk, send automated enquiries, inflate a listing's view or contact counts, interfere with the site's security, or pretend to be someone else.
6. What “Verified” means
A Verified tick on a business means a member of our team checked who the business is and that its contact details reach it, at the time of the check. For a property agent, it includes the registration number the agent gave.
It does not mean we guarantee the business, its goods or services, its prices or how it will behave. Take the same care with a verified business as you would anywhere else.
7. Buying safely
- View an item, vehicle or property before you pay anything. Be wary of any request for a deposit, a “holding fee” or payment to a third party.
- Meet in a public place, and take someone with you.
- For property, ask to see the title deeds and check them with the Deeds Office; check an agent's registration with the Estate Agents Council of Zimbabwe.
- Get a receipt, and keep your messages with the seller.
If a listing or a seller looks wrong, report it to us at [email protected] or on WhatsApp +263 78 396 6994. We will look into it and may remove the listing or the account.
8. Enquiries and leads
When someone enquires about your listing, we send their details to you so you can answer them. If you receive enquiries or leads, you must:
- use them only to deal with that person's enquiry;
- not add them to a marketing list, sell them or pass them on without that person's consent;
- keep them secure and comply with the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07].
9. Paid services
Our listing promotions, business subscriptions, qualified leads and managed campaigns are described on our Pricing page. These rules apply to all of them:
- Prices: In US dollars, as shown on the Pricing page or in your quote. 263 Ads is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged.
- Orders: You can order a promotion in the business portal, or we send you a written quote, by WhatsApp or email, stating the service, its dates and its deliverables. Either way the order is confirmed when you pay it and we confirm the payment; until then you can cancel it in the portal at no charge. A quote takes precedence over the Pricing page.
- Payment: Due upfront for promotions and for the first month of a subscription or campaign. We accept mobile money, card payments and cash.
- Promotions: Each runs for the period stated, from the day we confirm your payment — or, if the listing is already promoted, from the day after its current promotion ends. A promotion that has started is not refundable, unless we fail to deliver it.
- Free listing: A business that opens its account on 263 Ads can keep the number of listings shown for the Free Listing on the Pricing page live without a subscription (one at launch). Businesses that joined before the free tier, or that we list on your behalf, are not limited unless they take a subscription.
- Subscriptions: Paid monthly in advance, for one calendar month from the day we confirm your payment. A subscription renews automatically: we send next month's invoice seven days before it ends. If the renewal is not yet paid, your subscription keeps working for seven days after it ends; after that it stops, your oldest listings up to the free allowance stay on the site, and the rest are hidden until you pay. You can turn renewal off in the portal at any time; an unpaid renewal is then withdrawn and you owe nothing for that month. Changing subscription starts the new one when it is paid; the old one runs to its end date and does not renew.
- Campaigns: Our management fee, payments to partner channels and any paid advertising budget are listed separately on your quote. If a partner does not publish as agreed, we will re-book the placement or refund what you paid for it.
- Qualified leads: We agree what a valid lead is before a campaign starts. If a lead you were charged for is fake, a duplicate or fails those criteria, tell us within 7 days of receiving it and we will replace it or credit you.
- Results: We guarantee the deliverables we control: placements, dates, creative work and reporting. We do not guarantee views, enquiries, leads or sales unless your quote guarantees them in writing.
- Undelivered services: If we cannot deliver a service you paid for, we refund the part we did not deliver.
10. Your adverts
You are responsible for the content of your adverts and campaign materials. They must be lawful and truthful, and you must hold the rights to the words, images, logos and music in them. We may refuse or change an advert that breaks these terms or a partner channel's own rules, and partner channels may decline an advert.
11. Your content and ours
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, resize, format and translate it on 263 Ads, and to promote it on our social channels and on partner channels for a service you have booked. The licence ends when you remove the content, except for posts already published and copies others have made.
The 263 Ads name, logo and site design are ours. Do not use them without our written permission.
12. Removing content and closing accounts
We may remove content or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts other users at risk. Where it is safe to do so, we will tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, contact us and a person will review the decision.
If we close an account for a serious breach, such as fraud, we do not refund fees for services you can no longer use.
13. Our responsibility to you
We provide 263 Ads with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.
We are not responsible for listings, adverts or conduct of users, or for any deal between users. For a paid service, our total liability to you for a claim is limited to the fees you paid us for that service in the 3 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law does not allow to be limited, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act [Chapter 14:44], or our liability for fraud or for death or injury caused by our negligence.
You agree to compensate us for losses we suffer because of content you posted or because you broke these terms.
14. Disputes and law
If you have a complaint, contact us first and we will try to resolve it within 30 days.
These terms are governed by the law of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. A change does not affect a service you have already paid for.
These terms take effect on 12 October 2026.
